Players of Paris Saint-German have been informed that no matter what happens, Kylian Mbappe would remain with the French club this summer. The PSG Sporting Director, Leonardo has reportedly disclosed this information according to news media, CadenaSer. Mbappe is also said to have resigned to fate and accepted to stay at the Parc des Princes for at least one more season.
Kylian Mbappe's current contract expires on June 30th, 2022 and he would be free to discussing with new clubs as from January 2022. PSG has offered the 21-year-old a new 6-year deal worth €36m per year to stay with the club but Mbappe has refused all offers so far. The French international is said to have his mind set on a move to Real Madrid either this season or as a free agent next season.
Real Madrid is rumoured to be preparing a bid in the region of £120m to prise the Frenchman away from Paris. The Los Blancos has identified Mbappe as their top transfer target and the man to build the next Madrid project around. The Spanish side were bereft of attacking star power last season with players like Vinicius, Rodrygo and Asensio failing to complement Benzema's efforts in the final third. Madrid though, are prepared to wait one season to get their man whilst also saving some much needed money to reinvest in other parts of their squad.
Kylian Mbappe is expected to respect the decision of the shot callers at PSG. Thus, the pacy forward would prepare for a season wherein he'll be the third member of a superstar attacking trio including Neymar and Lionel Messi. PSG is hoping to carry out an onslaught on the UEFA Champions League title this season with the expectation that a massive spend this season will result in success in Europe's premier club competition.
