Paris Saint-Germain has targeted Manchester United star midfielder,  Paul Pogba as their next priority in the transfer window. The Parisians are set to make him one of the best-paid footballers and the best-paid midfielder in the history of the sports. Nasser Al-Khelaifi's board has reportedly offered a £500,000 a week deal for the 28-year-old to jump ship from Old Trafford. 

The French World Cup winner has entered the final year of his contract at United and he is rumoured to want a change. The Glazier-led management team at United is said to have offered Pogba a 5-year £400,000 a week contract extension to stay at the Theatre of Dreams. Pogba, however, is rumoured to have refused the offer and is expected to leave the EPL club soon. United is said to prefer to sell him this season for between £35m and £50m rather than lose him for free next summer.

PSG then is ready to swoop in for a proven performer as they continue to build an all-star team capable of an onslaught on the UEFA Champions League this season. The French side unveiled 5 of their superstar signings to their home fans on Sunday at the Parc des Princes before the Ligue 1 match against Strasbourg. Lionel Messi, Sergio Ramos, Achraf Hakimi, Gini Wijnaldum and Gigi Donnarumma were all presented to a packed stadium. 

Paul Pogba remains a key target for the Parisians ahead of the close of the transfer window. Mauricio Pochettino would love to pair him with Marco Verrati and former United teammate, Ander Herrera. The former Juventus midfielder justified the buzz surrounding him by providing 4 assists in United's opening day 5-1 win over Leeds United on Saturday.
