The Badalona Guàrdia Urbana has denounced a footballer from the Olympique de Marseille first team for organizing an illegal party in a house in the town, in which some thirty people participated, all of them sanctioned for breaking the Covid-19 restrictions. As municipal sources have informed the Efe news agency, the local police went on Sunday night to a house in the Mas Ram urbanization, for tourist use, after several neighbors complained about the noise after the hour of the call is left over.
Upon arrival, the tenants refused to open the door to the agents, so they had to wait until they received authorization from the property owner to be able to enter and prevent the clandestine party from continuing. Since last week, the local police have dismantled a total of nine illegal private parties in Badalona.
According to police sources, once inside, the Guàrdia Urbana denounced 33 people for violating the health regulations of COVID-19, including a Marseille player, and the three organizers -among them another footballer from the same team- also for a crime of serious disobedience to agents of the authority.
