Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is a coach that is always looking for new players for his team, Manchester United. He has been scouting lots of young and experienced players to bring them to Old Trafford. Now, the Norwegian has requested the board to have a look at three defenders to have a new reinforcement for the bottom line.

The most famous one is Raphaël Varane: the Real Madrid defender is about to turn 10 years old playing for the White House. In the middle of this, he lifter the World Cup trophy with French national team in Russia. His price, as per Transfermarkt, is $84.7 million. Should Manchester United release his countryman Anthony Martial to allow the move?

Apart from Varane, Solskjaer has been watching the new sensation, the one that is possibly 2021’s biggest rising star. He is also French and plays in La Liga, but for Sevilla. 22-year-old Jules Koundé is possibly about to become the world’s most expensive defender. He is now over $60 million but the huge interested created in him could make that higher.

Now, Manchester United and Solskjaer also like digging into the local market. Aston Villa has shown very good records in defense thanks to Argentinian goalkeeper Emiliano Martínez and to the solid center backs. One of them, 27-year-old Tyrone Mings, is pretended by the Red Devils. He is not as expensive as the others in the list: “just” $32 million.
