Neymar arrived to Paris Saint-Germain on August 2017 with the great objective of winning the Champions League once again and escaping from the shadow of Lionel Messi to be the greatest figure of hi club. After four years, the Brazilian couldn’t conquer the international competition once again, and will lose his big next chance.

PSG will play against FC Barcelona on February 16 at Nou Camp, in the first game of the Round of 16. Ney has suffered an injury and won’t be able to play that match, the most expected one of the whole season for the Parisian side. His absence clearly damages Mauricio Pochettino’s team, as they won’t count on their greatest figure.

But the fact of Neymar won’t being able to play, also makes a millionaire lose for PSG. Just to start, the attacker receives $5,000 hourly with his mega contract signed, being the second-best paid player in the world after before and above Cristiano Ronaldo. That money will be wasted, in the exact moment that PSG needs his star.

The second millionaire lose is the one that the French club could suffer if they ended eliminated from the competition. Arriving to quarter-finals signifies an income of $11 million, to semifinals $13 million and winning the title more than $20 million ($15 million for runner-up).
