Neymar is using a friend of Lionel Messi to convince him of joining PSG

Lionel Messi is the most wanted player in the world. But actually, just a few teams can afford him. Those are Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester City and Inter Miami CF. He still has not made a choice, and he even might decide to go nowhere and extend his contract with FC Barcelona.

But Neymar wants him to join him at PSG so bad. They are friends and he has a strong desire of playing with him again and tear up any competition they play. So he talked to a friend of the GOAT and together they are trying to convince Lionel to move to Paris and play under Mauricio Pochettino.

That friend is Leandro Paredes, PSG midfielder who also plays with Messi for Argentina national team and they have a great relationship. What Paredes did was to talk publicly about how he wished the transfer to happen, putting him pressure. He also added that he would feel extremely comfortable in France.

Having Pochettino as the manager could make Messi incline for the PSG option. Paredes told that it got easier for him, and Pochettino himself revealed that he has a lot of things with common with the GOAT. Given the effort and the factors that there are at Parc des Princes to accomodate the star, that would be the most likely option.
