Neymar is getting help to win The Best from a GOAT from his sport

After so many years of the reign of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo winning the award to the best player in the world, only interrupted once for Luka Modric, Neymar wants to finally win it himself after being at their shadow. And this time, he tried an external strategy, asking for help.

In his Instagram stories, the Brazilian is posting screenshots of people voting for him, promoting their accounts in exchange. But one of them stood out among the rest, given he is the best player ever in his sport and wants Neymar to be a legend too, so this GOAT voted for him and the PSG star thanked him by posting it.

This legend is the Brazilian Alessandro Rosa Vieira also known as Falcao, best futsal player ever. He won the Futsal World Cup with his country in 2008 and 2012, and was awarded four different times as the best futsal player in the world by FIFA. Now retired, Falcao still holds the records of most appearances and most goals scored with Brazil.

Before, Neymar had reached only the third place in 2015 and 2017. Sometime, he declared he do not care about this award. But after leading PSG to the Champions League final and seeing the bad year Messi and Ronaldo had, he noticed there is a clear opportunity to finally receive the award, competing this time against Robert Lewandowski and Kevin De Bruyne.
