Neymar asked his teammates to convince Lionel Messi of joining PSG

The information regarding Lionel Messi's future have a dispute between Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain to sign him. Neymar, his close friend, has been making all kind of efforts to have an influence to make the transfer happen, like telling in a press conference they will play together again next season.

This time, he asked for help of his teammates, who want the signing to concrete as well. The one who speaked up about this whole story is Marquinhos. The defender, captain of Paris Saint-Germain and teammate of Neymar both in the club and the Brazilian national team, left the door open to the Argentinian.

Marquinhos said everybody knows what is Messi capable of and it would be a honor to play with him. But nothing is certain at the moment so he cannot say too much, he only knows they are currently rivals, given the duel between PSG and FC Barcelona in UEFA Champions League first knockout round.

It will be the first time both clubs will face each other since 2017, when the biggest comeback ever happened. After PSG won the first leg 4-0 at Parc des Princes, FC Barcelona pulled a 6-1 in added time and advanced into the next round. Neymar, who at that moment was playing his last matches for the Cules and scored twice, will focus his effort on winning again, but now for the French side.
