English Premier League club Chelsea have been long linked to French midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni who plays for Monaco and is rumoured to be the next N'golo Kanté because of his work rate and exceptional tackling similar to the little French man.
Tchouameni further justified Chelsea's reported interest in him by deputising for N'golo Kanté in the French midfield alongside Paul Pogba and was exceptional. He played the role of N'golo Kanté and played it very well which would further intensify Chelsea's interest in him.
N'golo Kanté is 30 years old and is on a decline recently. He struggles with injuries and hardly stay fit. Even though it may not be time for Chelsea to let go of the little Frenchman, signing his compatriot as understudy certainly is not a bad idea.
The 21 year old has a market value of €40m which is a fee the London club will he able to afford but it will not come easy as Monaco will be willing to explore the various offers they will receive for Tchouameni. Manchester United and Real Madrid are also reportedly interested in signing him.
