An era may be ending at Real Madrid soon, as Sergio Ramos is set to leave the club after more than 15 years. The historical defender was formed in Sevilla C.F. and arrived to the Galacticos on August 2005 for $27 million. Since then, he never left and transformed into one of the greatest idols ever of the club.
Ramos is now 34 years old and set to leave the Spanish side. His contract ends on June 2021, reason why he may already negotiate as a free agent to depart. The problem was that president Florentino Pérez make him no offer of renewal until the start of 2021, what made the player mad as local press reported.
After many weeks of uncertainty, Ramos was linked several times to Paris Saint-Germain. It is said that Mauricio Pochettino wants him at the super team they are working to form with Neymar and that may even have Lionel Messi. The Parisian side is one of the few ones that may afford the contract of such an idol.
But despite what rumor said, Ramos has now been linked during the last hours to Liverpool. The Premier League side is chasing him after Jürgen Klopp asked sport advisers to make an effort to sign him, according to Daily Star.
