Hirving Lozano closed a 2020 in which he was one of the best Mexican players of the world. He started with some problems and Napoli, due to his complicated relationship with Gennaro Gattuso, but afterwards things between these two got calm and recover their link.

Chucky ended a 2019/20 season in which he scored just five goals on 39 matches played, but started the 2020/21 scoring seven goals and giving two assists on 19 games. Next year will be a good one for the forward if things continue this way and Gattuso keeps helping him to progress.

Just a day before the year ends, Napoli recognized the work from Lozano putting a goal of him as one of the best ones in the year. It was the one the attacker scored with his right foot against Atalanta, match in which he scored the two goals of his side. A distinction of that kind, that not even Raúl Jiménez or Tecatito Corona had.

Lozano was formed at Pachuca and then moved to PSV Eindhoven. His arrival to Napoli was on August 2019, when the Italia club paid $35 million for him. Since then, he played 53 matches, scoring 12 goals and giving four assists. With a contract until 2024, he hopes to stay until then at the club and continue with his top performances.
