Cristiano Ronaldo made an impressive professional career so far. The Portuguese achieved to gain very important titles, as five Champions League, three Premier League or five Ballon d’Or and compete in an incredible way for almost everything he had in front of him.

His professional career started in 2002 at Sporting CP and since then he played for Manchester United, Real Madrid and Juventus. Cristiano is already 35 years old but, due to his incredible physical conditions, no one can assure when he will retire and his last days seem to be very far away.

Despite what many may think, CR7 talked about his greatest idols and didn’t mention Diego Armando Maradona or Pele. Both Argentinian and Brazilian legend were left apart by the Portuguese, who talked about who is his true inspiration and a model role to follow in his career: Roger Federer.

Cristiano explained in an interview with DAZN that he looks a lot at the Swiss tennis player, that at his 39 years old is still one of the best ones of the world. The attacker said that the problem at that age is not physical, but to keep motivated to fight for big things as when he was a youth.
