Many soccer stars from all over the world love to play poker. It is a game that is usually played by them on the locker rooms or while traveling to play games. During the last decades it was known that some top players loved the game. Just to mention some, we can find Neymar, Francesco Totti or Gerard Pique.

Many of them even have sponsorships with gambling online platforms and compete on tournaments. The soccer legend who has gained more money playing poker in his life is Ronaldo Nazario. The Brazilian idol beat a record on 2015, when he gained $40,000 dollars during the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure.

All the pro-players competed for the $1.4 million check, and Ronaldo ended on position no. 26 out of 800 players, gaining an important amount of money. In that way, he overcome the record from an athlete, that was the one that golfer Sergio García had for ending 50th on a professional competition.

Ronaldo started his professional career on Sao Cristovao and passed through top European teams, as FC Barcelona, Real Madrid, Inter, AC Milan or PSV Eindhoven. The ex-attacker revealed that during his time at the Galacticos, from 2002 to 2007, he learned to play poker and reached the level of a pro player.
