Mauricio Pochettino has now been confirmed officially as the new head coach of Paris Saint-Germain. The Argentine arrives after his experiences at RCD Espanyol, Southampton and Tottenham Hotspur with the clear mission of trying to win the Champions League title for the first time ever with the Parisian side.

Poche has many top players in the team, being Neymar the captain and the greatest star with which he counts on the club. But after the first talks with president Nasser Al-Khelaifi and sport adviser Leonardo, the trainer has asked for the arrival of a player yes or yes, as the French press reports.

The offensive midfielder that Pochettino wants with him at PSG is Dele Alli. The English aged 24 has played under the mandate of the Argentina at Tottenham, a club in which he played 233 matches, scoring 64 goals and giving 56 assists. With a contract signed until June 2024, it won’t be easy to take him out.

Alli arrived to the Spurs on 2015, when he was a youngster that the club signed for $7 million from MK Dons. After a brief loan at his former side, he returned to the middle of that same year and since then never left again. Now Pochettino thinks he is a great option to complement each other with Neymar and that is the reason why he is asking for him even above Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, two utopian signings.
