Zlatan Ibrahimovic is considered one of the best forwards of his generation. The forward has left a mark in each of the leagues in which he was, thanks to his extraordinary technical quality, his enormous scoring production and of course a personality that is not indifferent to anyone.

Less than a month after his 40th birthday, Zlatan Ibrahimovic reviewed his career and considers that he is on a par with Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. Although the Argentine and Portuguese have dominated the individual awards, Zlatan believes that this is a product of the level of the teams they play for.

"When the collective works, the individual benefits: the individual cannot be good if the team is not good. Deep down, I think I am the best in the world", said Ibrahimovic in an interview with France Football, downplaying the importance of the awards given to the best players in the world.

"If you speak properly of qualities, I have nothing less than them. If you look at the trophies, yes, I did not win the Champions League. But I do not know how you calculate it. I am not obsessed with that. I do not think it is relevant to compare players with each other." added the forward regarding individual comparisons.

Ibrahimovic could return in the coming weeks, after a long period of inactivity due to injury. The Swedish striker has been an important piece for Stefano Pioli, as in the first leg of last season he scored 15 goals in 19 games that led Rossonero to dream of the Scudetto.
