Zlatan Ibrahimovic is an incredible case of how a soccer player can still perform as a top player despite being almost 40 years old. The attacker is having one of his best seasons ever, as he scored 11 goals and gave two assists on just 10 matches played. At Serie A, he netted 10 balls on six games.
Despite he suffered an injury and has been out of the field for a couple of games, AC Milan has still maintained their level and proved that they are serious contenders to win a title this year. The Italian side has made an impressive achievement: it is now the only unbeaten team left in Europe top five leagues.
Juventus was the other side that also had that achievement, but they lost it on their defeat 3-0 against Fiorentina on Tuesday. Not even Cristiano Ronaldo or Lionel Messi can say that, at Juve or FC Barcelona, they have the same streak that Ibra is having currently at Milan.
The future of Ibrahimovic is still very uncertain. Despite his physical conditions are incredible, we may think that one day he will announce his retirement. For now, his head is focused on work hard to return and help Milan gain a title on this 2020/21 season. His contract with the club ends on June 2021, fact that makes him possible to move a free agent next summer.
