In the history of football there are countless players who marked an era and became a legend. Pelé, Diego Maradona, Ronaldo Nazario, Rivaldo, Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, just to mention a few examples, not only built a brilliant career on the court, but they are also charismatic. However, for a world star, none of these are the most beloved in history.

While discussing N’Golo Kanté's personality both on and off the pitch, Paul Pogba concluded that the Chelsea midfielder has become the most beloved footballer in the entire history of the game. In a talk with beIN SPORTS, the Manchester United footballer assured that it's impossible not to love Kanté for the way he gives himself on the pitch and for the humility with which he behaves outside the green box.

According to what was collected by the aforementioned media, Pogboom declared: “(Kanté) Is the most beloved player in the history of football. You can't hate it. It isn't possible. He's kind, he's professional and, when I say professional, he never complains”.

On the virtues of N'Golo at a professional level, the former Juventus added: “He has everything, he is good technically and has a good passing quality. I even say that he comes out of the ground. You don't see it, he goes out and recovers the ball. What more could you ask for than having a player like that by your side”.

What Pogba said coincides with what once, in a dynamic with Soccer AM from Sky Sports, Antonio Rüdiger, who lives more with Kanté at Chelsea, pointed out: “He's very quiet and friendly. You cannot hate Kanté, the person who hates him is because he has serious problems with himself. The guy's always smiling. I've never seen him angry. And you can't be mad at him. It isn't possible to be angry with N’Golo”.
