Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo were the two most important soccer players of the last years. Both attackers broke all the records and gained multiple titles, being the most important player of the clubs for which they played. His level was so top, that they were even compared with Diego Maradona or Pelé.

But despite the reign of Messi and Cristiano, the basketball legend James Harden choose his favorite soccer player and left both the Argentinian and the Portuguese aside. The player of Brooklyn Nets of the NBA decided to pick Paulo Dybala, the Argentinian offensive midfielder that plays for Juventus.

Indeed, Harden sent a message to Dybala that was a collaboration with Adidas, as the new jersey of the Italian side was revealed. Sat in a bench in the middle of a basketball court, Harden wished Dybala good luck for the starting season and unveiled his fanaticism for him.

Dybala is 27 years old now and going through a very particular moment in his professional career. With a contract until June 2022 at Juventus, he is in talks to make a renewal, despite the club doesn’t want to pay him fortunes. So far, he has 244 appearances in Juve, scoring 98 goals and giving 40 assists.
