Raúl Jiménez suffered a tremendous injury a couple of weeks ago, that will make him loose a lot of matches until next year. The Mexican attacker crashed his head against David Luiz, on the game in which Wolverhampton defeated Arsenal on Premier League, and left the field injured.

It was revealed that the attacker suffered a skull fracture and that his comeback will be in several months. Until then, Wolves are already working to try to sign a replacement. A no. 9 should be arriving to occupy the place in which the forward used to stand, and he must be a top player, as Jiménez was the top scorer from the team during the season.

In a first moment it was said that the two options to replace him were Hulk or Moussa Marega. The Brazilian won’t be arriving as new laws from the country prevent him from doing so since 2021. The Mali attacker hasn’t convinced the sport adviser from the clubs, as he hasn’t played in any top teams.

Rumors now say that the forward who will replace Jiménez at Wolves is Salomón Rondón. The Venezuelan is currently playing at DL Pro Chinese side and his contract ends on December 2022, the reason why he will try to rush his exit. Rondón has played at England already, when he did it at West Bromwich and Newcastle United and also in other important European clubs, as Zenit or Málaga.
