The Borussia Dortmund player, Erling Haaland, is achieving a great season in the German team with more than striking numbers in his 20s and both Real Madrid and Barcelona had been interested in his services to make an attack pair with Lionel Messi facing to the next season but Sebastián Kehl, the club's manager, flatly denied that the Norwegian is leaving the institution in the next transfer market.
The former player and manager of the professional squad assured in statements to Sport1 that the footballer "will stay at Borussia Dortmund next season and he agrees". After his arrival at the club from Salzburg in Austria at the beginning of 2020, the Norwegian has been one of the figures of the team and Kehl remarked: "he fully identifies with the club".

On the other hand, he responded to the footballer's representative, Mino Raiola, who had assured Haaland was the owner of his career and added that “maybe I was too careful when I said: 'oh, no, let's go first to Dortmund, instead of not I know where'". Referring to these sayings, Kehl stated: “We know Mino Raiola very well. Therefore, one or two statements do not surprise us. We are not naive and we know that we are talking about probably the most hyped forward in the world right now. Speculation will not stop".

Erling Haaland's agent toured Barcelona and Madrid with the footballer's father to listen to different offers. In particular, the culé team wanted to outline the conditions of a possible transfer in order to carry out a sports project that makes Lionel Messi remain within the institution, but his high price was one of the obstacles to carrying out the negotiation.

Haaland, 1.94 tall and 20 years old, has a contract until mid-2024 -with a release clause for June 2022 set at 75 million euros- and this season in the German team he has already scored 37 goals and 11 assists in 38 games played. In addition, on March 6 he reached 100 official goals in 146 games, a mark that surpasses Messi (he needed 214 games) and Cristiano Ronaldo (he reached that figure at 298 games).
