FC Barcelona is just at the start of a chaotic moment. After Lionel Messi tried to leave, and he couldn’t, president Josep María Bartomeu did so and now the club is facing an historical debt. During the next years, Barça should be paying more than $850 million, one of the greatest debts of a soccer club in the world.

o start, we may assure that Barcelona won’t be signing any players soon. In fact, the club may lose Messi, as the Argentinian legend said that he would like to leave and will be able to do so on the next transfer window, when his contract signed until June 2021 finally expires.

But, the fact of Messi leaving won’t solve the debts. Barcelona’s new president should think a strategy to gain a huge amount of money in a short period of time to accommodate the financial issue. One of the best options then will be selling Ansu Fati, the club’s greatest prospect.

Even though nobody wants to see him out, Ansu is just 18 years old and because of what he proved in the start of his professional career he has a great talent. His price is around $100 million and selling him will help a lot to arrange those problems that the club has off the pitch.
