Mohamed scored one and assisted another in Liverpool's 5-0 win over Watford despite the Anfield side missing their two Brazilian stars in goalkeeper Alisson Becker and midfielder Fabinho Tavares. The Reds ran rampant and it was a perfect performance.
Mohamed Salah was named the man of the match with just a goal and an assist despite the fact that Brazilian striker Roberto Firmino scored a hat-trick, that underlines the extent of his brilliant performance in the match that received appraisals from all and sundry including manager Jürgen Klopp who called him the best in the world.
"His performance was massive today. The pass for the first goal was great and the second goal was special. He is top. We all see it. Who is better than him? We don't have to talk about what Messi and Ronaldo have done for world football and their dominance. But right now, he is the best." Klopp said after the match.
Salah's solo goal is reminiscent of Lionel Messi, he took the ball and fizzled past three Watford players before slotting home with his weaker right foot. The goal has drawn comparisons to Lionel Messi which is rightly so.
