
Mohamed Salah opened the scoring for Liverpool in their UEFA Champions League matchday three against Atletico Madrid to continue his impressive goal scoring form. He has now scored in nine consecutive games, the first Liverpool player to do so.
His impressive season so far have drawn comparisons with six times World footballer of the year Lionel Messi with his quick feet, mazy runs and goal scoring techniques. He is pushed by many to win the 2021 Ballon d'Or awards with manager Jürgen Klopp calling him the best in the world.
Mo Salah has played eight games in the Premier League this season, he has scored seven goals, joint top with Jamie Vardy and he has also provided four assists, beyond goals he has been the team's best player and focal point of attacking, bringing his teammates into position and drawing opponents to himself thereby creating space.
He has also featured thrice in the UEFA Champions League and has four goals including a cracker tonight to open the scoring in the eighth minute of the encounter.
