Liverpool boss, Jurgen Klopp has distanced himself from the contract situation involving Mohamed Salah at the club. The German tactician instead said that he is focused on the Egyptian's form and sharpness on the field rather than the negotiations going on with the player and his representatives. On his form, Klopp says Salah is 100% and he has nothing to worry about.

What is Mohamed Salah's contract situation at Liverpool?

Club talisman, Mohamed Salah has been locked in discussions with the club's management all summer over the details of his new deal. Several first-team players including Trent Alexander-Arnold, Andy Robertson and Fabinho have signed fresh terms this summer and committed their futures to Anfield. Mohamed Salah is yet to put pen to paper on a new deal though.

The Egyptian has just 2 years left on his contract with Liverpool and there have been rumours about his future. Salah has been the most consistent goalscorer for Liverpool, scoring a total of 125 goals in 4 seasons at Anfield so far. There have been rumours about the player not being so valued at Liverpool by the club's management and even the team. The player is reported to have requested a weekly salary of £500,000 but the club is reluctant to offer him that much money.

Which clubs can sign Mohamed Salah?

The Egyptian forward is a player in hot demand and has been repeatedly linked with moves away from Anfield Stadium. Spanish giants, Real Madrid and Barcelona are the two most consistent clubs that have been linked to  Mohamed Salah. FC Barcelona will be looking at replacing the goals scored by Lionel Messi with the arrival of Mohamed Salah. Real Madrid is also looking for a Galactico forward signing to revolutionise their attack.

Manchester City is a surprise club that could be interested in signing the proven goalscorer. If Mohamed Salah doesn't agree to a contract extension by next summer, he would have just 1 season left on his contract and Liverpool might be forced to sell. This would be an easier deal to do than with Tottenham Hotspur's Harry Kane. Mohamed Salah would bring the same goalscoring ability that the England Captain would.
