Cristiano Ronaldo scored the first goal of the Champions League match between Manchester United and Young Boys as part of the first date of Group D at the Wankdorf stadium in Bern, Switzerland. The Portuguese idol took advantage of a great pass from his compatriot Bruno Fernandes to put Norwegian coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's team ahead.
