Miguel Layún's days are numbered in the Liga MX, his destiny is with one of the MLS teams

It is almost a fact that Miguel Layún's future would be outside of Rayados de Monterrey, well even outside from Mexico, after several media outlets reported that the 32-year-old could emigrate to MLS to play in the new Austin FC franchise. The rumors have gained more strength, after Miguel Layún himself will publish in his social networks, mainly in his Instagram stories a photo with his family in the city of Austin. 

The new team of the United States Soccer League is thinking about presenting itself in a big way and would be arming itself with several well-known faces of the MX League, so they have already signed former America player Cecilio Dominguez and in the following days they would be looking to close the pass of right back Paul Aguilar, who ended his relationship with las Águilas del America.

But another factor that seems to be facilitating the arrival of the former national team Miguel Layún to MLS is that he has not been able to stay as an undisputed starter with Rayados de Monterrey, since in the current Guardianes 2020 tournament he only added 778 minutes in 16 games played, in addition to the fact that the standard of living enjoyed by Mexican players in the United States is to attract attention.
