A triumph to trust and hope again. The Mexican soccer team beat Costa Rica 1-0 on Tuesday thanks to a goal from Hirving Chucky Lozano in a friendly match that served as preparation for both representatives for the Concacaf qualifiers for the World Cup and the Gold Cup, which will begin for these two countries in September, in the final round of the Concacaf tie.

In the match, played at the Wiener Neustadt stadium in Austria, El Tri looked more dangerous and generated several goal options, but the wise interventions of goalkeeper Keylor Navas and the posts prevented them from taking place.

It was until the 89th minute when the dominance of Mexico was reflected with a header from Lozano inside the small area after Luis Romo finished off a corner kick sent by Diego Lainez from the right wing.

Thus, Mexico and Costa Rica closed their tour of Europe, after on Saturday those led by the Argentine Gerardo Tata Martino lost 1-0 in their visit to Wales, while the Tica team drew 0-0 as a visitor against Bosnia and Herzegovina.
