Mesut Ozil is burning prescious time at the end of his professional career. The German midfielder is already 32 years old and has probably some season more to play. Nevertheless, he hasn’t done so during the last months, after head coach from Arsenal Mikel Arteta decided to axe him.

Far away from leaving, Ozil decided to stay and perceive the huge salary that makes him one of the best paid players from the whole Premier League. Nowadays, the player is clearly disinterested about what is going on at the club and that is seen by the fans as a message from him wanting to leave.

While Arsenal played for Europa League against Rapid Viena on Week 5, Ozil didn’t ever appear to follow the match. On his social media, the player shared promotions linked to sponsorships that he has and did no posts about the triumph with which the Gunners reached the first position on Group B.

On the other corner of the world, David Beckham in waiting for Ozil to convince himself and move to Inter Miami. The MLS side has already offered him great conditions to make the transfer, but the player is still doubly about it. With a contract remaining until June 2021, we may think that his position won’t last any longer.
