Lionel Messi has been one of the most influential soccer players in the soccer world. The Argentinian formed in La Masía has transformed into one of the best ever, compared to Pele, Diego Armando Maradona and so, after more than 20 years of an impressive professional career at FC Barcelona.

Despite it is not something he likes to talk about, retirement will arrive for the historical no. 10 one day, and he is still thinking what he will do after that moment. With 33 years old, Messi is now debating where he will continue playing during the next season, as he wants to leave Barça and Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester City and the MLS appear as good options.

But what after retirement for him? There are some businesses that he has already mounted and that will permit him to earn fortunes during all his life. To that we have to add that he will always be a world-famous person, with millionaire sponsorships and a privilege place in every city of the world.

But there is an option for Messi to follow the steps of Michael Jordan and Ronaldinho to make a business of a lifetime. The American basketball legend and the Brazilian star both decided to sell the rights of their name to Nike, as the sport brand mounted a business with that. Something similar could be happening with Messi and Adidas, or another brand, if he accepts to transform his name into an international spectrum inside the brand.
