November 25 is the day that will be remembered forever as the one in which legend Diego Armando Maradona died. At the age of 60, the ex-soccer player was going through several health issues and could resists after suffering a heart attack. He finally died in his house in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

People from all over the world decide to go out to the streets, despite the COVID-19 pandemic, and paid tribute to Maradona. The idol marked an era playing for Napoli, FC Barcelona, Argentinos Juniors, Boca Juniors, Newell’s Old Boys, Sevilla CF and, of course, his national team.

Just four days after his death, Barça played a game against Osasuna for LaLiga, in which Messi scored a goal and his team won 4-0 at Nou Camp. But the great image of that match was the tribute that the Argentine decided to pay to Maradona, showing off a jersey from Newell’s, club in which Leo was formed and in which Diego played.

Soccer Federation from Spain decided to punish Messi with a penalty of $750 to him and other $200 to the club. To that we have to add the fact that the referee showed the no. 10 the yellow card, despite that wasn’t a problem for him after having honored who was his father in soccer in such a way.
