Lionel Messi and Luis Suárez integrated during a long time one of the most fearsome attacking duo. FC Barcelona had them both as forwards and for the defender it was very difficult to stop the dribbles from the Argentinian and the goals of the Uruguayan. But everything reached an end when Barça considered Suárez disposable and kicked him.

The striker arrived then to Atlético Madrid, a club in which Diego Simeone was very pleased to receive him and gave him plenty of chances and the possibility to fill comfortable. Suárez adapted very quickly to his new club, in which he scored 14 goals and is the top-scorer of LaLiga, while his team stands in the first position.

After the departure of Suárez, the options of him playing together with Messi reduced considerably. Due to their age, it was very unlikely to think that another team could reunite them. But after it was rumored that Paris Saint-Germain was going to sign them both, something impossible considering that they already have Neymar, Kylian Mbappé and Mauro Icardi, a new club show interest on them.

Ángel Correa, Argentinian and companion of Suárez at Atlético revealed that when it was rumored that Messi was set to leave Barcelona, he asked the Uruguayan to force his move to the Colchoneros. As Messi will be a free agent on June of this year, there are some chances of Suárez trying to convince him to move to Atlético Madrid then.
