Mauricio Pochettino got saved by the player he wanted to ditch in Messi's favor

Lionel Messi is probably going to choose Paris Saint-Germain as his next club when he leaves FC Barcelona. He is reported to accept the offer made by the French club and join his friend Neymar. And with a signing like that, the coach Mauricio Pochettino will have to make some adjustments to accomodate him.

And one of those adjustments include someone who was always seen as a troublemaker in the squads he was part of. And he has been reported to have a conflictive relationship with the GOAT. But PSG was struggling in its last match and he made a great contribution, being key for the victory.

Mauro Icardi scored one goal and made an assist two minutes later. With his performance in just 26 minutes, PSG beat 3-0 Stade Brestois with Moise Kean scoring the first and Pablo Sarabia being the one who found the net with the pass from Icardi. The Argentinian had been subbed on for the first scorer of the match.

The other good news for him is that Lyon drew its match and now the gap between them and PSG is just one point, so Pochettino has a better shot to take the team back to top of the league, at the same time a new problem might be generated within the roster between Icardi and Messi, if he signs.
