Diego Lainez is living a peculiar situation in Real Betis since he is not taken into consideration by the Chilean coach Manuel Pelegrini. Although he is having a great present with the Mexican national team, in Betis he still cannot show the quality of player that he is. Manuel Pelegrini confessed that it is what Lainez lacks to be able to be in the first team.

During a press conference, Manuel Pelegrini told that Diego Lainez has not trained with the squad for more than a month. First it was because of his trip with the Mexico team and then because of a stomach problem. That is why the coach cannot give him so many minutes in the Liga BBVA.

Pelegrini is confident that Diego Lainez will be able to show the great level of player he is and that he is confident that in the coming weeks he can adapt to Betis. Diego Lainez must show what he did in Mexico's friendly against Algeria where he was one of the best players in Gerardo Martino's team.

Diego Lainez, according to Peligrini, must change two key aspects of his game if he wants to be one of the best in the world: firstly, he must work on how he carries the ball since it is difficult for him to release it in time, and then he must improve his physical build since as soon as a player touches it, he loses his stability and the transfer is complicated.
