Manchester United want to retain Pogba?

Pogba has been linked with a move that involves Real Madrid since he was at Juventus. None of that changed when he arrived in Manchester but at least at Juventus, he really fits on the team and get to play a Champions League Final. Now the club is trying to retain him as long as they can.

He won a Europa League title for Manchester but when you say that you want to leave, the fans have no mercy. When would he leave? It is hard to say, because Manchester United trigger a contract extension for Paul Pogba by an extra year. So now, they can have control of the situation.

If the team did not do this, there was a huge risk of Paul Pogba leaving the club after his contract ends. Now, if Zinedine Zidane wants it, he will have to buy it. They confirm that this decision was taken before Pogba started talking up a potential move to Real Madrid during the international break.

The midfielder is now playing his fifth season at Manchester United, he has scored 33 goals and gave 32 assist in 161 games. His best achievement is the World Cup title with France in Russia 2018, but he seems to have a better level when he plays for the international team than when he plays at Old Trafford.
