Manchester United are in the market for a right back to add to their squad despite signing English right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka for £54m just two years ago. The 23year old is reputable for his defensive awareness but is very limited in providing offensive output from the flank which has become a responsibility of fullbacks and wingbacks in modern football.

The right back situation at the club is not helped by Wan-Bissaka's back up Diogo Dalot who is very good offensively but is a culprit in defensive duties and was torn apart by Villarreal's Arnaut Danjuma in the Champions League almost costing United the game until Cristiano Ronaldo stepped up with a last minute goal to win it for United.

Norwich City right back Max Aarons is one of the league's best right back and had amassed over 137 professional appearances for the Canaries despite being just 21 years old. He provides superb balance between defence and attack, quick on the ball with great tracking back ability and hardly gets beaten on one on one situations.

Barcelona wanted to sign Max Aarons in 2020 after Norwich City were relegated from the Premier League but went for USMNT right back Sergino Dest instead. Aarons played in the Championship with Norwich and came back to the Premier League as the second division champions.
