Manchester United are thought to be leading the race to sign 24-year old Portuguese midfielder, Ruben Neves, from Wolverhampton Wanderers. Arsenal was thought to be in the race to sign the midfield enforcer but have now been overtaken by the Old Trafford side.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is in the market for another central midfielder as rumours continue to swirl that Paul Pogba might not extend his current deal at Manchester United. The Red Devils have recently entered the race for Neves and are rumoured to have moved ahead of the queue.

Manchester United have already signed Borussia Dortmund forward, Jadon Sancho in a £70m deal. They are also targeting French Central defender, Raphael Varane from Real Madrid. They currently have Paul Pogba, Scott McTominay, Fred and Donny van de Beek as some of their options in the middle of the park.
