Brazilian defender Dani Alves before heading for Brazil in 2019 said in an interview with ESPN F90 that he eyes Major League Soccer and would love to play there. Fast forward to two years, the dream could be a reality as he's interested in joining the MLS.

What Dani Alves said in 2019

"Most of the things done in the US are appealing, to say otherwise would be to lie. Organization, structure, the greatness of how things are done and the excellence they have, that attracts a lot to everyone. If it wasn't like that nobody would talk about going there. I've always got one eye on the States, no doubt about it"

Alves also had offers from or was offered to the following clubs; Flamengo, Boca Juniors, River Plate, Tigres UANL, Club America and Monterrey. Though the media reports linking Alves to the MLS didn't state any club, below are the possible clubs he could join in the MLS.

Inter Miami CF

The club owned by former PSG player David Beckham is known to recruit top stars who have played successfully in Europe, with players like Blaise Matuidi and Gonzalo Higuain on their roster, they could as well add Dani Alves to their list to help their push for playoff places.

Los Angeles Galaxy

Another MLS club known for recruiting top European stars in the MLS is Los Angeles Galaxy, they had David Beckham on their roster after he left Europe, and could be where his interest in American football came from.
