The case of the examination of Luis Suárez in his attempt to arrive at Juventus continues to give something to talk about. The Bianconero team is under investigation for having provided the soccer player with the questions of the test to obtain nationality, in order to sign him as a community player. The newspaper La Reppublica revealed part of the interrogation of the player before prosecutors in Perugia.

Luis Suárez was directly questioned if he received a pdf file with the possible text that the authorities would use for his nationality examination. The current Atlético de Madrid player confirmed having received it from the teacher, Spina. "Yes. She said that he should study it well because it could be the one they would ask in the exam", confessed the former Barcelona´s stricker.

The forward revealed which Juventus officials he had contacts with, in the context of the examination. "With Nedved (vice president) for sports aspects, with Paratici (sports director) and with (president) Agnelli, two or three days after the exam, who thanked me for the effort I made to get rid of Barcelona. Agnelli told me that in football you can never program anything with certainty. I had never spoken to him before that moment“, assured the Uruguayan soccer player.

"Paratici called me when I was at the airport and told me that I had made the best choice for my family. Two days later, Agnelli called me and told me that he felt the negotiation did not come to fruition. He thanked me for what I did to facilitate it, also forcing the relationship with Barcelona" added Messi´s ex teammate.

The investigation is already in course

The University for Foreigners of Perugia, in charge of exams to obtain nationality, has several of its officials under investigation for the possible criminal offense. Similarly, the alleged fraudulent attempt to sign Luis Suárez as a community player has several Juventus leaders under the scrutiny of the authorities. At the moment, the Italian Football Federation (FIGC) has not taken a position in the case, but a sentence for fraud could have serious sporting consequences.
