Luis Suárez has always been known for having been Lionel Messi’s best friend during his period in Barcelona. He is one of the closes people to the Argentinian master. Now, despite the very good relationship they carry until nowadays, in which the Uruguayan striker is no longer in the club, now he has been pissed off.

Talking with radio show Onda Cero in Spain, he stated he does not see any sense, and does not understand that people have so much evil to do something “so private and personal”, assuring the club is what it is exclusively because of Messi. Despite he recognizes no player can be over a club, no other in the world has given to a team what the Argentinian did to Barcelona.

The Uruguayan clearly speaks about what Spanish newspaper El Mundo did last weekend, publishing the contract that links Barcelona and Messi. The publication reported the Argentinian master has earned more than $673 million since he signed the last contract extension on November 2017. The current deal expires next June 30.

Suárez was cleared away from the squad by Ronald Koeman as soon as the former Dutch defender became the new head coach of Barcelona. He replaced Quique Setién after the heavy defeat by 8-2 against Bayern Munich in the UEFA Champions League quarter finals clash in Lisbon last year. Now he is enjoying a very good first season playing for La Liga leaders Atlético de Madrid.
