Atlético Madrid obtained another great victory this Sunday, a date in which they defeated Cádiz 4-2 in LaLiga. Luis Suárez played a key role in the game, as he has been doing since his arrival in the Colchoneros. The Uruguayan striker scored two goals, one from a penalty shot and another one from a free kick.

Suárez was curiously axed from FC Barcelona a couple of months ago, after the elimination from Champions League against Bayern Munich 8-2. Ex-president Josep María Bartomeu considered that he was no longer needed and, with the approval of head coach Ronald Koeman, kicked him.

Since his arrival to Atlético Madrid, the forward has show how great he is and, after just 20 games played, he scored 14 goals. So far, he is the top-scorer of the local league, with two goals more than Lionel Messi, his ex-great companion and friend from Barça.

Afterwards, it was revealed that Suárez asked Diego Simeone in a training during the week to let him shoot the free kicks. The Argentine trainer replied to him that he didn’t have so many goal scores from free kicks, but that he could try. Suárez finally scored a golazo this Sunday and laughed looking at Simeone in the celebration, in a clear message that show a complicity that he didn’t have with Koeman.
