It was always publicly known that Antonella Roccuzzo, Lionel Messi’s wife since 2017, has always been a close friend of Sofía Balbi, married to Luis Suárez. Both the Uruguayan and Argentinian stars of FC Barcelona are extremely good friends too. But among wives, things are not that easy.

Gerard Piqué, a legendary center back from Barcelona and Spanish national team, and one of the most influential soccer players ever given his leadership and personal life. He has developed a very serious career in the field, and at the same time, started with lots of personal projects regarding investments in business.

Some time ago, Piqué started a relationship with worldwide famous singer Shakira. The Colombian goddess was approached by the Spanish defender, who was then, allegedly, going out with a close friend of Antonella Roccuzzo. From there on, rumors were spread around assuring the relationship between them was not any good.

In 2017 Shakira was interviewed by Argentinian TV station TN some weeks before Lionel Messi and Antonella Roccuzzo’s wedding. During the chat she refused versions on a confrontation with Messi’s former girlfriend and current wife. Meanwhile, Roccuzzo never gives interviews, so we can’t know what she thinks about yet.
