It's no longer news that Lionel Messi has left Barcelona after 21 years and he currently plays for Paris Saint-Germain where he has a two years contract worth $41m per season.

Things have not gone as planned for Messi at PSG as he has had to deal with different injuries and other fitness concerns that has put his consistency in doubt. He is yet to score a league goal for PSG after five lesgue games. Though he has three UEFA Champions League goal.

"I always said that I would love to be able to help the club in what could be useful and can add and help the club to be well. I would love to be a technical secretary at some point. I don’t know if it will be at Barcelona or not. Or if it will be otherwise. If there is a possibility, I would like to contribute again in what I can because it is the club that I love and I would love for it to continue to be good, to continue growing and to continue being one of the best in the world." Messi said in an interview with Sport.

Messi's contract which Barcelona were unable to register reportedly has an ambassador role in the contract after he retires but Messi is looking beyond that and want more role as a technical secretary.
