Since he appeared in soccer world, Kylian Mbappé show that he was going to be a top player. The French attacker is only 21 years old and has achieved some records, as being a World Champions with his national team. Due to his capacity and his incredible conditions, he was many times compared to Lionel Messi.

During Champions League Week 6 group stage, Mbappé overcame a stat from Messi. The French arrived to the 20 goals scored in the most important competition in Europe. He did it after scoring two goals against Istanbul Basaksehir, in the victory with which his team qualified in the first position to the next round of the UCL.

It took 21 years and 355 days for the forward to arrive to that number of goals in the tournament. Messi did it in 22 years and 267 days, always playing with FC Barcelona. We can now say that in the comparison, Mbappé did it better than Messi and his future in the competition seems to be bright.

The third player to most rapidly score 20 UCL goals is Raúl González, with 22 years and 297 days. The other two that complete the top five are Alessandro Del Piero (23 years and 157 days) and Karim Benzema (23 years and 283 days). Surprisingly, Cristiano Ronaldo, top scorer of the Champions League, doesn’t appear in the list.
