Argentina's Lionel Messi could finally become the stellar signing for Paris Saint-Germain. The huge legend of FC Barcelona has his contract expiring at the end of the season. With an ongoing conflict with the board of his club, the possibility of moving to France is on the cards. His former teammate Neymar could help for this to happen.

Should Messi sign for the French giants he will not only meet again he's attack partner Neymar but also, he would be playing alongside one of his closest friends of the Argentina's national team: Leandro Paredes. The midfielder has expressed his big desire of welcoming his countryman onboard in the future.

“It's common to desire having Messi in your team. Every coach or player would love so. apart from that it is up to his decision. It is only his, as I always say. I just hope he chooses the best option for him, but I wish we could have him with us” said 26-year-old Paredes as reported per Spain’s sport newspaper Mundo Deportivo.

Neymar has also become a remarkably close friend of Paredes, who emerged from Boca Juniors’ youth divisions. After a spell in Italy playing for Empoli, Verona, and Roma, he joined the French side. Messi always pointed at Paredes as one of the leaders of Argentina’s new generation.
