If you ask us where to find high salaries in sports, we could suggest you to be an NBA player or a soccer star, among other possibilities like being a professional MMA fighter, a NASCAR or IndyCar driver (yes, F1 too). But if you are not an athlete, just sit back and enjoy reading this. We will put Lionel Messi face to face with Cristiano Ronaldo and LeBron James.
Recently, Forbes has published a list regarding NBA salaries, which are usually sky-high, and despite the tough 2020 the world has been through in terms of global health, the discipline managed to stay strong. Among those stars, LeBron James can be happy to earn over $95.4 million per year.

Now, moving onto the indoor courts to the grass, and dropping the orange ball for a moment to take the white one, we will now have a look at Cristiano Ronaldo. The Portuguese master has always raised fortunes given his endless talent that took him around Sporting Lisboa, Manchester United, Real Madrid and Juventus.
As per Forbes, 36-year-old Ronaldo earns around $117 million a year considering his salary at Juventus, bonus prizes and multiple endorsements he has. But if we have to compare him with the other big legend, he will not succeed. Who are we talking about? Yes, Lionel Messi. The Argentinian is reportedly earning $126 million a year in Barcelona.
