Lionel Messi is a top legend in soccer history already. The Argentinian has given many profs of it during the last year and on Saturday he showed it once again. At Nou Camp against Valencia C.F. the attacker scored for FC Barcelona which was his goal number 643 with the Catalan side.

That number of goals mean that Messi is now aside Pele as the two players in history who scored the more for a single club. While the no. 10 did it for Barça, the Brazilian scored them for Santos. But despite that record that everyone is talking about, there is another one with which Leo humiliated his own head coach Ronald Koeman.

Messi reached also de 450 goals scored just in LaLiga. Such incredible numbers make put to shame even Koeman, who was one of the most scorers’ defenders ever, but netted 83 balls on 254 matches played for Barcelona as a player. His story and the one of the club then reunited once again, when he returned as a coach.

It is yet a mystery to know until when Messi will continue scoring goals with Barcelona, as he already manifested that he wanted to leave during the past transfer window. At first, ex-president Ronald Koeman denied him that chance but now, with his contract ending on June 2021, it seems to be a matter of time for that to happen.
