It seems to be a certainty that Lionel Messi will leave FC Barcelona soon. The Argentinian legend already try to depart during the last transfer window, but ex-president Josep María Bartomeu denied him that possibility. But now the circumstances are different and the historical no. 10 is set to leave.

After 20 years, Messi thinks that Barça can’t give him anymore the competition he needs and will try to find a new club at his 33 years old. Since the very beginning, Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain are the two sides with more chances to sign the legend, even though the French one appears now with more possibilities.

During The Best award, Messi sent various winks to PSG. The first one was voting Neymar as the best player of the year and Kylian Mbappé on second place. The other one, that was notices just a day after the ceremony, was that the offensive midfielder voted PSG goalkeeper Keylor Navas as the best one of the world, even above his companion at Barcelona Marc-André Ter Stegen.

With three votes for PSG, it is now said that Messi sent a clear message to the French side saying that he wants to leave there now. His contract with the Catalan side ends on June 2021, which means that since the start of 2021 he will be able to negotiate with any club he wants to as a free agent.
