Lionel Messi and Neymar might play together with a new coach

Some time ago, Neymar declared he will play with Lionel Messi, not specifying where. At the time there was a lot of talking about Neymar being uncomfortable at Paris Saint-Germain and wanting to come back to FC Barcelona, but considering the crisis the Spanish club is going through, the tables turned and it looked like Messi was looking forward to settle in Paris.

The result was a lot of confusion about the future of these stars. but some more uncertainty was added. Because both Ronald Koeman at FC Barcelona and Thomas Tuchel at Paris Saint-Germain are at risk of being sacked, but currently the French club is the only capable of affording that kind of wages, so it looks that Messi will play at PSG under someone else.

The candadates to replace Tuchel are Massimiliano Allegri and Mauricio Pochettino. The former has enjoyed of great success with Juventus, winning Serie A five times and reaching UEFA Champions League final twice. The latter won nothing at Tottenham, but showed he is capable of make huge improvements with few resources.

So it looks like Thomas Tuchel will miss out on managing Lionel Messi, and someone else will have that honor. The bad results in Ligue 1 are being decisive for his future. PSG is right now in the third place, but anything that is not tearing up that league like they have done in almost all these years is a failure.
