French striker Kylian Mbappe, figure of Paris Saint Germain (PSG) and world champion with his country's national team in Russia 2018, assured this Saturday that he feels the best when he enters a field but admitted that he is below Argentine Lionel Messi and the Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo, who "have a billion more things" than him.
"Every time I go out to a field I always tell myself that I am the best and, however, I have played alongside Messi and Cristiano and they are better players, they have a billion more things than me", the forward told RMC Sports local signal.
However, the 22-year-old PSG striker trusts his conditions: "In my head I always tell myself that I'm the best because that way you don't set limits and try to give everything. Of course, sometimes people don't understand it because I believe that perhaps there is also that barrier that is created in relation to the subject, where it is not really explained what the ego's”.
Mbappé, who started his career at Monaco and moved to PSG in 2017, has scored 147 goals in 220 games in France's Ligue 1 and is the most coveted figure by the most powerful clubs in Europe, as he will be with the pass in his power in June 2022.
"I had the chance to win a World Cup when I was 19 years old and my ambition is to get the second. France has great players and we can't wait another 20 years to win another one", he said, referring to the lapse between the first conquest in 1998, and the one mentioned in Russia.
