Erling Haaland's one of the great appearances of recent years. Since the U20 World Cup in Poland when he scored 9 goals against Panama with Norway, his name began to sound strongly among the best gunners of the time. After shining in Bryne and Molde, he made his first big leap in European football by signing at Red Bull Salzburg and a season later, at Borussia Dortmund, where from his first game he showed all his scoring power.

And last weekend, in the meltdown against Bayern Munich, the young Norwegian striker hit the impressive mark of 100 goals scored since his debut. To reach this record, he needed fewer games played than Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, the two greatest exponents of modern football, as well as Kylian Mbappé. They only needed fewer games to reach the three scoring figures Pelé and Ronaldo Nazario.

Against Bayern he returned to leave several feats to remember. He took 73 seconds to score 0-1 and only needed 8 minutes and 41 seconds to score 0-2. Never had an opponent made a double so fast since the opening of the Allianz Arena in 2002. He was able to sign the hat-trick in the 25th minute - which would have been 0-3 - but Boateng intercepted Meunier's assist.

With Dortmund he goes almost to goal per game. Since his arrival from Salzburg he has scored 45 goals in 46 games. He has also distributed 11 assists. This season he is improving: he records 29 points in 28 games. He is a scorer in the Champions League with eight goals - Giroud, Neymar, Rashford and Morata add up to six - and only Lewandowski (31) exceeds his 19 goals in the career for being the top scorer in the Bundesliga.

However, there's one fact that draws even more the attention of Haaland. With only 20 years and seven months he has already scored 100 goals in the elite. He scored 20 in 50 games for Molde (2017-19), registered 29 in 27 games with RB Salzburg (2019-20) and now counts 45 in 46 games for Dortmund and six in seven caps for Norway. Almost nothing...

Now, how long did it take for the big stars to reach their first hundred goals? The journalist Rodolfo Rodrigues, a statistician, affirmed that Pelé achieved it in 86 encounters - he was 18 years and one month - and Ronaldo Nazário achieved it in 108 - he was 19 years and two months-.

Haaland, meanwhile, did so in 147 games. Kylian Mbappé needed 175 games (20 years and eight months), Romário also needed 175 (23 years and one month), Neymar used 184 (20 years), Lionel Messi took 210 (22 years and three months), Robert Lewandowski he left until 216 (23 years and three months) and Zlatan Ibrahimovic required 270 (25 years and two months).

Curiously, the one who needed the most games (301), who no more years (22 years and 11 months) was Cristiano Ronaldo, who, currently, has stood out as the top scorer in history with 768 goals.
